Forget about visiting the city on Fridays – the city of Rocklin non-emergency offices will be closed Fridays through June 2010.

As part of an overall effort to reduce city expenses to adjust to the current economic climate, the city of Rocklin non-emergency offices will be closed to the public every Friday from July 2009 through June 2010. Emergency services will continue to be provided at full staffing levels.

This includes closure of the following city offices and buildings:

City Hall, 3980 Rocklin Road

Administration, 3970 Rocklin Road

Fire Department administration office, 4060 Rocklin Road

Corporation Yard, 4081 Alvis Court

Community Services (Sunset Center offices), 2650 Sunset Blvd.

Recreation Programs: Regularly scheduled recreation programs, including Kids Junction and Rocklin Preschool will operate on Fridays, except for holidays

The Police and Fire Departments will be fully operational. For all police and fire-related business, please go to the Police Department office located at 4080 Rocklin Road.
