If I was able to express my right to free speech without getting attacked, have my manhood questioned, or be called an idiot...I would probably say that wrestling is such a dumb sport. Oh no...does this mean that CoachR will schedule another wrestling match for me?

Johnnyrotten. As you say, the name says it all. Do you think attacking people on a personal level makes your opinion more important than theirs? Are you not confident in your own evaluation of talent / teams that you need to try and shift the focus by petty name calling. Can’t your opinions stand on their own merit? Does insulting someone on an anonymous blog make you feel important? That’s all these comments are, someone’s opinion. Make a comment not an attack, then respect others rights to their own opinion. And no you haven’t hurt my precious feelings. I don’t respect anyone’s opinion that tries to demean others to make themselves feel better. Your attitude toward anyone who disagrees with you shows your true character. Does it make you feel good insulting high school kids with your comments? Their programs are terrible, go play a girls team, who cares about your fringe sport. To all the high school athletes who give your all day in and day out, winning or not, don’t pay attention to the bitter johnnyrottens of the world. Find someone who shows positive values and morals in their everyday actions and you will see what a true winner really is.

Johnny you are always entitled to your opinion and to voice it...heck I feel pretty strongly about that right and respect the men and women that fight to defend it. In the words of Don King, "ONLY IN AMERICA!" :-)

And wrestling is certainly an acquired taste for most that haven't done it or understand it. Heck I feel the same way about golf, tennis, nascar, horse racing and basketball! (dumb sports that is). I am allowed to say that as an American citizen. That said, wrestling is the only sport mentioned in the Bible and continues today largely unchanged. I succeeds in the Olympics and is one of the few Olympic sports that continues to grow in participation and popularity. Truth be told, wrestling doesn't need you. BUT if you ever have a choice between watching golf and wrestling, give me a call and I will be happy to sit mat side at a match with you and explain the subtle nuances that you probably miss on first inspection. It benefits a lot of kids and am encouraged that kids show enough moxie to put in the hard work and discipline that it requires despite the general public's comments, like yours.

Hat's of to the kids that wrestle and the ones that defend our freedom to speak freely! AMEN

Well said yabutwhat...some great points. But you guys are missing my point. I am not knocking the kids that wrestle...good for them...but I still think it is s stupid sport.
